My first experience at China Wok was very disappointing. The food wasn’t bad, but the customer service was one of the worst I’ve experienced. I ordered the Sesame Chicken, but I was given a completely different dish. When I politely told the man who answered the phone, “Excuse me, this isn’t what I ordered,” instead of checking the order or trying to fix the mistake, he immediately became upset and started speaking to me in an angry tone. He kept insisting that I had ordered a different dish, repeating the name over and over as if he were scolding me. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. However, the way customers are treated makes all the difference. A simple apology and a willingness to correct the order would have been enough. Unfortunately, because of the rude and unprofessional customer service I received, I will not be returning.

Terrible food. The rice was super brown and greasy tasted burnt. The chicken was horrible, didn’t taste good and threw it againS wasted 40 dollars and tossed everything. Even the egg drop soup was super yellow and gross.

I ordered combination rice and guy who rings up ordered already looked like he had an ugly attitude when I entered! I ordered combination rice with extra hot oil hot sauce from the start, as I was leaving looked in my sack and only saw one! I asked for another and he said he was going to have to charge me! I said that’s fine, he began running his mouth! I told him I ordered extra from the beginning and I don’t mind paying for it! He gave me another one and was still crying and running his mouth and I told him he was very rude and he was still running his mouth! I will never eat there again! Very unprofessional! When I got to my work, I opened my combination rice and rice was old and dark and taste old! Threw it in the trash! I took picture but not allowing me to insert pic! Never again!

They have the freshest, tastiest Chinese food! Never skimpy with their servings either. I always have plenty left over for lunch the next day. Their Hot & Sour soup is one of the best I've had!

The good: The kung po chicken was the best I've had in Lubbock The bad: The order was for Kung Po and egg rolls. The store missed the egg rolls. Happens right? However, what makes this egregious is they noticed that they screwed up. As you can see in the photo, instead of correcting it, they crossed out the total, hand wrote a total matching what they were paid by doordash and handed it to my dasher without the egg rolls. On a petty note they default to fried rice as a side for their stir-fries and it's honestly just flavorless oily rice. Not worth eating. The Kung Po Chicken *was* very good though. Food: 3 stars because the kung po was good and everything else was bad or missing. Service: 1 star (because it's the lowest... I'd go negative if i could) for noticing their mistake and not correcting it Atmosphere: N/A this was a delivery Overall: 1 star for the same reason as service.
